R. Scott Groenwold CPA, CGA

…a 2nd generation professional accountant who specializes in primary producer farming operations, owner-operated / managed commercial businesses, and a variety of agri-businesses in the Abbotsford and Fraser Valley area. Scott began his accounting career in 1992 and previously worked as a Senior Manager for a large national accounting firm and was part of the regional Agricultural Team. Scott opened Groenwold & Associates in 2007 and has enjoyed continuous growth through client referrals and recommendations.

Scott has lived in Abbotsford for more than 35 years and he obtained his Certified General Accountants degree in 2004. Scott is a member in good standing of the BC Certified General Accountants Association and the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. Scott is currently and has in the past been involved in various charitable organizations and is currently Board Treasurer for a Not for Profit organization.

Danette Groenwold

…another 2nd generation in the accounting world, with over 25 years of experience in the Fraser Valley working with a variety of clients over the years. Danette currently handles all the bookkeeping, payroll, WCB and GST reporting and remittance requirements for our clients.

Matt Groenwold

…currently enrolled in the CGA program of professional studies and working towards being a 3rd generation professional accountant. Matt currently works on client year ends, corporate tax returns and personal tax returns.
